Save-a-Limb Ride FClass BENEFIT Metric Century mi. 8:00 am from Oregon Ridge Park. The 3rd Annual Save-A-Limb Ride and Carnival will be held on Sunday, September 28 at Oregon Ridge Park, featuring professional cyclist Floyd Landis and commentator Bob Roll. The events include a Metric Century ride, 30-mile ride, 6-mile bike family ride, carnival, picnic and live music with race day registration opening at 7:00 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for all rides with an additional minimum pledge of $75 for the Metric Century and 30-mile rides. 35, 62 and 100 miles from Curtis Memorial County Park through the beautiful countryside of Stafford and Fauquier Counties. Sponsored by the Fredericksburg Cyclists. The ride is fairly flat with some rolling hills. Well stocked rest stops featuring homemade breads, cue sheets, well marked routes, SAG vehicles, mechanical support by Olde Towne Bicycles, and communication services offered by the Rappahannock Amateur Radio Club. At the end of the ride stay and enjoy a free lunch accompanied by chips, sodas, and a dessert – all prepared especially for you by the Club’s chefs extraordinaire. 4, 12, 25, 62 and 100 miles around Harford Community College and throughout Harford County. Proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance. Rides will leave from the Susquehanna Center Building on the campus of Harford Community College starting at 7 AM. Marked routes, SAG, rest stops, cue sheets, maps provided as well as lunch. Showers available for use after the ride. $25 if preregistered by September 6 and $30 after September 6. T-shirts available for $15 with preregistration.
