June – my fiance’ and I are getting married in Baker Park in the late summer of 2012. I found that I got the best response to my requests when I actually went into the Parks & Rec. Dept. and talked to a staff member in person. Good luck!

Why does this not mention canal access points in Frederick County, MD, such as Brunswick, MD, Point of Rocks, MD, and others? Isn’t this supposed to encourage people to visit Frederick? It only mentions boat rides in Georgetown, not the exciting biking, hiking, camping, and boating opportunities right in FREDERICK COUNTY.

My email address is jclark@guardianrealty.com. I am trying to find information about rental of band shell or any other outdoor area for a wedding on June 25th this year at 4:30 or 5:00. I spoke with Christie Winterstein who tells me there is an event on the 25th and therefore the Tower in the Park is unavailable. Is there any other area in the part or in the City that would be available. I was thinking of the Amphitheater at Carroll Creek etc. Pelase respond.
