Alive @ Five Happy Hour is a 21+ event that takes place 13 times throughout the summer from 5-8pm at the Carroll Creek Amphitheatre. Each event features live music, delicious local food and drink, and fun activities and prizes. Alive @ Five is a fundraiser and all proceeds benefit Downtown Frederick Partnership. 5-8pm

Our qualified instructor will give historical interpretation at this site and entertain you with the turbulent tales of this war so crucial to our nation’s history.

This week’s topic is “Barbara Fritchie and Stonewall Jackson: Fact and Fiction” – session three in a five part series by historian and Pastor Emeritus, Fred Wenner. The series will examine controversies that rocked local churches as well as the caring and compassion that united the churches in tending to the wounded and dying following the Battle at Antietam.
