Frederick Festival of the Arts

The Frederick Festival of the Arts is a juried, two-day art festival held the first weekend every June. The Festival is run by the Frederick Arts Council which is a non-profit 501c(3) organization supported by grants from the Maryland State Arts Council and corporate sponsorships and the local community.

2009 Festival Schedule:
Saturday, June 6 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 7 – 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Event Description: The 16th Annual Frederick Festival of the Arts is a juried two-day fine art and fine craft regional festival and multi-disciplined celebration of the arts. Offerings include over 110 professional artists from over 20 states, multi-genre performing artists, children’s crafts and interactive activities, as well as excellent performances.

Admission: FREE!
No animals, bikes, skateboards or rollerblades are allowed on the festival grounds.

Handicapped Accessibility:
The Festival is an open-air event and all walkways around the show are fully handicapped accessible. Handicapped parking is also available in and around the City of Frederick.

Parking Information:
Getting around town is easy. There are more than 5,000 public parking spaces available in historic downtown Frederick with four parking decks from which to simply walk to the festival site.
