Old-Fashion Community Harvest Celebration
The purpose of the celebration is to recall the many wonderful memories of times gone-by when most churches held festivals in the fall to celebrate the bounty of the harvest and give thanks for the gift of life. This gathering brings the mountaintop communities together to share in a celebratory program of great music, a time of praise and testimony for God’s goodness to us, and great tasting seasonal pies. The music planned for the program covers a broad range of appeal, to include a bluegrass gospel jam, and traditional and contemporary worship style music. And a showcase of pies will be available for all to enjoy with lemonade, hot chocolate and hot apple cider. The public is invited to join in this celebration for an afternoon of fellowship, great music, and fabulous food. 3-5pm
